Fright or Wrong got its start at the 2016 Telluride Horror Show as a rough-and-tumble, pen-and-paper, oh-God-we-don't-have-a-microphone event rife with errors yet filled with laughs. Hosted by Brad McHargue and Jon Barkan of Mutiny Pictures, the event lasted two years before Jon sadly departed in 2017.

Thankfully, that year saw Brad's chance meeting with Becky Sayers. The two hit it off and eventually became not just partners in trivia, but partners in life as well. We got to work planning our first in-person trivia event outside of the fest and first official event under the new Fright or Wrong moniker.
Because God is cruel, our inaugural Fright or Wrong event was canceled thanks to COVID. While things remained dormant for awhile, we hosted our first ever virtual Fright or Wrong night at the 2020 Telluride Horror Show via a convoluted livestream process that somehow worked despite our best efforts to ensure it didn't (like a barking dog).

Following the arrival of the vaccine, bars started opening back up and we found ourselves as the regular "trivia in residence" for Slashers, a horror-themed bar on the infamous Colfax strip of Denver.
